Principal's Message

We are ready for another exciting year of learning at Eastwood Elementary School. Eastwood is a Responsive Classroom school and our focus is on student-centered literacy, targeted math, and Being A Writer. We are also eager to continue using our wonderful “LEED-certified” school as an instructional tool to support the understanding of science and the marvelous world around us. Additionally, our students will learn through and enjoy technology integration, project-based learning, and Spanish language instruction. Our Black Bear cubs really have GRIT, and they use a powerful Black Bear GROWL when they try their best and refuse to give up the first time they try something new! We are already so proud of them and look forward to a fun year of learning! We’re off to a great start!!

Always Proud to be a Black Bear!
