🌿 How can people grow crops when there is not enough land or good soil? Fifth-grade students in Ms. Rohaley’s room posed this question and answered it as part of a project-based investigation. Students brainstormed possible solutions and agreed that a hydroponics’s unit would be the best solution. In hopes of furthering their investigation, Ms. Rohaley applied for a grant through the PTO funding to help students out their solution into action. The classroom received funding for the hydroponics’s unit and began the process. Students will plant various crops, record growth data, and enjoy the food. 💙A huge thank you to the North Elementary PTO for their continued support!
